I'm so glad I upgraded to the best windows sequencer on earth : Sonar X1 Producer by Cakewalk!!

SONAR X1 Producer has everything needed to deliver the polished, "radio-ready" recordings that are expected in today's music industry - all in one box. Included are all of SONAR's cutting edge music creation tools, plus an unparalleled collection of world-class instruments and effects. From the innovative Skylight interface to the legendary, "big-studio" sound of the ProChannel console strip, SONAR X1 Producer is the ideal choice for anyone serious about music production.

I have been using Sonar from Sonar 2, and it has really developed now, beating every competition on the market!!

I would rather choose Cubase or FL Studio if you are planning to use EWQL or Kontakt-based samplers, because Sonarcan't handle massive CPU comsumer library like EWQL VSTs.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday! ^^

rcvtk responds:

Well...FL studio is not professional at all especially when compared to all the other DAW. Cubase and Nuendo are really good I agree, but everyone has his first choice product!! It's true that there might be CPU faults, but first of all that depends on the specs of your pc and these faults can also occur in Cubase when you are dealing with MIDI. Kontakt is my first choice sampler, and I load 80% of the samples in Kontakt 4, and rarely had problems... and just 2 let you know Sonar has improved a lot especially with its 64bit engine.

Thx for your comment... and I still recommend and rate Sonar X1 Producer as the best windows based DAW. (lol) :P

Two Steps From Hell just released the new album Power of Darkness, it's freaking epic! Btw do you like X-Ray Dog music?

rcvtk responds:

Yes of course...their music is so powerful!!
Power of Darkness is epic...it really confirms the work of Nick Phoenix and his team!!
